Hello, my name is Theresa Sanchez, and I’m the Founder and Owner of Integrity Senior Living Advisors, LLC. My passion for helping our aging population began long before I realized it.

As a teenager, I often stepped in to help older family members with simple tasks so they could live safely and comfortably in their homes. At the time, I didn’t see it as anything special—just helping out. But looking back, it was the beginning of a lifelong calling.

As life moved on—marriage, children, and the busyness of adulthood—those visits became less frequent. I now regret not being more present, especially after my dear uncle was taken advantage of by someone he trusted. If I had known then what I’ve learned over the past 13 years, his end-of-life experience could have been much different.

Years later, both my mother-in-law and my own mother became seriously ill, just a few years apart. As a family, we were overwhelmed and under-informed. We had no idea that senior advisors even existed—no one, not a doctor or a social worker, mentioned this kind of support.

Surprise visit with mom

When my mom was eventually placed on hospice care, our only instinct was to rally as a family and provide around-the-clock care. We were exhausted, confused, and constantly questioning whether we were doing the right things for her. There was no end-of-life plan, no estate plan—just love, determination, and a lot of trial and error.

These deeply personal experiences ignited a passion in me to ensure no other family had to feel lost or unprepared in caring for an aging loved one.

In 2012, that passion turned into a mission. I was on the road to building a life coaching business before mom got sick, and the skills I gained helped me support families in elder care. In time I began building connections and collaborating with professionals across the senior care and services spectrum—Senior Living Advisors, Geriatric Care Managers, Hospice and Home Health agencies, Senior Living Communities, Elder Law Attorneys, medical supply companies, and organizations that support those with specific conditions or diseases.

At Integrity Senior Living Advisors, our mission is to guide families through the often-confusing senior living and care landscape—whether you're planning ahead for long term care needs or facing a crisis. We come alongside you in the search and offer one-to-one advisors, advocacy, education, compassionate support, housing and care resources, and practical tools so families can make informed decisions with confidence.

Going forward through this blog, I’ll be sharing parts of my personal journey, real client experiences, resources, success stories, and helpful insights into long-term care and life planning. I’ll also introduce you to trusted professionals—experts in their fields—who bring valuable knowledge to the table.
